Shree Boutique Hair and Beauty Salon are based in Bearsden near Glasgow.
A responsive design was one of their main requirements to enable smartphone browsing clients to view their services easily.
Adobe Illustrator enabled me to create a new logo for the business based on ideas they had suggested. Choosing the font was crucial and my client had a certain look in mind. I also had to use the pen tool to create the Shree icon.
The site was created using Dreamweaver utilising Bootstrap for efficient responsiveness. CSS3 was used extensively in creating the look and feel of the website.
I was asked to develop and design a new website for Clyde Homes who design and build Modular buildings and wooden timber homes.
My client required a modern design to reflect their new Glasgow based business.
They also required access to edit content and with this in mind I chose a WordPress CMS based website. More and more clients wishing a new web design also want the option of updating the content via CMS. WordPress is by far the most popular option.
I customised the colour, design and responsiveness of the website using CSS and a flexible template.
I also edited their logo to stand out better on a dark background.
Wide screen Slider
I recently created a new website for this established Glasgow based Architect firm.
I used Adobe Muse to create the website. I found it fairly straightforward to use, but slightly lacking in customisation features. I had to export the website from Muse then open it in Dreamweaver and perform several html and css updates to each page before it was ready for uploading.
The software was great for Galleries and this allowed for a quick initial setup but once again lacked some customisation options that would have been very handy.
I now have room to expand the site in the future and create a responsive design.

The Scottish Rhododendron Society required a website to showcase there photographs and highlight the society membership benefits.
Their old website had confusing navigation which made it difficult to access pages in an easy way.
I wanted to feature a large slider on the front page to immediately showcase the Rhododendron flowers.
This is another Wordpress based website which allows the members of the society to log into the website and post their own images and start discussions.

Asset Environmental are an established family business specialising in drainage issues including unblocking drains, sinks, toilets
I used Dreamweaver to create the website and added in a Bootstrap menu for full responsive and device compliance. I also used Fireworks to come up with some colour blends. I then extracted the CSS from the Fireworks blend and added the code to the CSS file in Dreamweaver.

Nova Blinds are an established family business. They required a new responsive/fluid website for their Milngavie based Blinds business.
A Bootstrap menu was integrated into the Top navigation bar, giving the website a responsive touch-screen friendly functionality.
A Google map was embedded into their contact page.
The website was created using Adobe Comp, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks.

The website was developed using WordPress with customised CSS3 features, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop.
AA Video Solutions
Video Marketing Scotland
Another new website launched recently, this time for my own video marketing business called AA Video Solutions.
I have mainly used Adobe products for the past 15 years of web designing and it was the same again for this website.
Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks were all used in the design process.
Adobe Premier Pro CC and iMovie were used in creating the videos for my clients.

Web Design Glasgow
Autoship Systems UK
I have recently launched the new website for Autoship Systems UK.
The design involved creating a website to be responsive, modern but also retain some graphics and other elements of the older ‘.com’ site.
I started off with an initial sketch of the layout. I then gave the latest Adobe CC apps a go on my iPad including Adobe Comp. This proved useful in setting out a basic layout.
To create the design the website I used the latest Adobe CC software including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks CS6 (still very handy).
The site needed an initial visual impact so I opted for a full width image of containers on a cargo ship.
I tested the design on all devices including Mac, laptop, iPad and Smartphone and tweaked the size and style depending on any layout problems.
My client was kept informed and shown various demo pages throughout the design process. Once they were satisfied with the colour scheme and layout I created pages of content based on their information and documents.
I have now launched the new website for Glasgow based Pollok House Arts Society.
The website design included 6 main profile images of the artists who would be performing for the society during the 2015/2016 season.
The sketch of Pollok House also had to be included in the main header of the website. I customised a WordPress template and the results are very satisfying. My client chose the colour scheme of the site which was established after several demo pages were reviewed and altered.
